2008 is it my year?

Well if I had to judge that now based on the first weeks of the year I'd say no. For the last four days I've been sick at home. It sucks. I hate being sick. I just want to be back to normal again.

Our cabin trip this year got pushed forward to March because of people having too many things going on in January. It looks as though I won't be going now because Grandpa's 90th birthday party is going to be the same week-end. In short, January is sucking! This year doesn't have the promise that last year did. False as it may be I had hope. I had a huge trip to look forward to. I had a lot and didn't know it. This year - nothing.

So to make up for what I don't have coming I'm posting my yearly horoscope.

Your mantra for 2008 is: I choose to get involved!

LOVE: A relationship stuck on idle either shifts into high gear or stalls out altogether on the March 21st full moon. Don't capitulate on what you need! You'll be glad you didn't when August rolls around and you're thrust into the throes of seductively sweet summer heat. A commitment made around September 29th is just icing on the (wedding?) cake!

WORK and WEALTH: Breaking out the bubbly at New Years may have more to do with a career coup than anything else. The Sun, moon and Jupiter say your dream gig is this close January 8th to 15th...if you choose to take it. Do it! Saturn asks you to temper your Aries enthusiasm (and impatience) with consistent action September 4th to November 20th. Easier said than done! You'd prefer to go full out on a project in the short-term than pace yourself in the long. The pay off for your self control? A bank balance to be proud of!

FAMILY and HEALTH: Mars in retrograde keeps the lid on your usual bubbling-over levels of energy early in the year. No worries, by mid-February you're back up to warp speed! Saturn doesn't let you get away with much health-wise. Stay on top of routine check-ups and don't wait to get that cavity/cleaning dealt with. You can prevent something more unpleasant down the road!
